TITAN

The TransatmospherIc flighT simulAtioN (TITAN) is a python-based framework for atmospheric entry simulation. TITAN employs a multi-fidelity methodology, enabling it to automatically switch between low- and high-fidelity methods to compute the aerothermal surface loads through the different flow regimes experienced during atmospheric entry. The computed aerothermal loads have an impact on the material ablation and demise, structural dynamics, and trajectory of the simulated objects, all accounted for within the TITAN framework.
